Meet The Administrator

Ronna Moody, MSN/MHA, MBA is a seasoned healthcare professional with a distinguished career spanning over a decade in various leadership roles. She currently serves as the Administrator for First Senior Home Health in Orange Park, Florida, a position she has held since December 2022.


Before joining First Senior Home Health, Ronna was the Executive Director at Apex Home Healthcare in Fleming Island, FL, for seven years. There, she developed her proficiency in Health Policy, Finance, Physician Relations, Patient Advocacy, Process Improvement, Elder Care, Home Care, Leadership, Analytical Skills, and Financial Analysis.


Prior to her tenure at Apex, she spent over two years as the Director of Clinical Practice at UF Health Jacksonville Home Care. In this role, Ronna provided oversight for the day-to-day operations of home care, ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations, including Joint Commission Accreditation. She also played an active role in staff recruitment and retention while effectively managing the Profit & Loss aspects of the organization.


Earlier in her career, Ronna served as an Advanced Practice Partner at the Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida, where she honed her skills in Patient Advocacy, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Critical Care Unit (CCU) management, Emergency Nursing, and Critical Care Nursing.


Ronna's leadership journey in healthcare also includes stints as the Director of Home Care at Community Hospice of NE Florida and the Director of Patient Services at Hospice Care of South Carolina, now known as Palliative Care of South Carolina. In these roles, she provided strategic direction, ensured regulatory compliance, managed budgets, and oversaw patient services.


Ronna holds an MSN/MHA and an MBA, solidifying her administrative and clinical foundation. Her extensive skills and experiences in the healthcare industry highlight her unwavering commitment to patient advocacy and her ability to deliver quality care to those she serves. Her exceptional leadership abilities continue to drive her teams towards excellence in the ever-changing healthcare landscape.
